What You Will Be Doing:
Support work of VP China Procurement.
Lead and manage Procurement staff at relevant Procurement offices (SLIM, Hotel etc.).
Establish consistent product specifications with the operating departments for all regionally and locally purchased products and services.
Ensure item descriptions in the systems follow the corporate CPM structure standard.
Obtain in-depth knowledge of the suppliers for the Hotel and their products.
Assess and evaluate the performance of all suppliers relating to product cost, quality, on time performance, completeness of an order, credit worthiness etc.
Drive key suppliers' development for the Procurement Area and the Group.
Closely engage with key suppliers on new products and market trends, encourage suppliers to develop new products, packaging, and services to meet our needs.
Working closely with Group Procurement Department and aligned with established sourcing strategy, source quotations collectively for hotel capital expenditure requests; complete transactions when approved.
What You Will Ideally Need To Be Considered:
Bachelors degree in related discipline.
Must demonstrate a high level of honesty, integrity, and competence in all dealings.
Ensure adherence to established Group and Regional contracts.
Solid experience in reducing the overall costs to business while maintaining established quality standards and service levels.
Good capability for driving key suppliers‘ development for the Procurement Area and the Group.
Good capability for driving procurement competency and capability building in the Area.
Good teamwork sprit for assisting procurement resourcing for new hotel openings in the procurement area.
Good experience in succession plan building and execution for the area in terms of talent development, work rotation and penetration for all procurement levels.
